Project Overview

This commercial facility had a bare concrete slab that was dusting heavily and absorbing stains. They needed a sealing solution that would protect the floor and cut down on maintenance without changing the look of the space.

Scope of Work

We cleaned and prepped the slab, repaired control joints and minor cracks, then applied a penetrating lithium-silicate sealer to harden the surface and lock out moisture. A topical sealer was added in high-traffic zones for extra protection.

Challenges & Solutions

Portions of the slab had old contaminants that resisted penetration. We mechanically cleaned and tested those areas to ensure the sealer bonded properly before completing the full application.

Results

The sealed floor now resists moisture and staining, produces far less dust, and is noticeably easier to clean — reducing the facility's day-to-day maintenance effort.
